Artist and creator Shi Lewis has turned it up a notch!

Born in Boston Massachusetts, Shi Lewis is an artist, writer, label owner, and manager.

Sha-Lu began singing and writing at a tender age. Growing up she would form singing groups and compete in local talent shows, exhibiting her gifts in management and entrepreneurship early on. She would also write songs and create short stories with any free time she had outside of her dedication for making good grades in school.

In 2009, she started an independent record label with her partner Keith Murphy called DeLiJa Entertainment where she has managed and developed countless artists, herself included. She is currently working with her “break out artist”, rapper, singer and songwriter Yung Finnese.

After being given the opportunity to write her first article in BTMB Magazine, Shi has gone on to write articles for HFL Magazine, a dedicated write up on custom designer and furrier,  Fur King The Designer, for Tracee Ellis Ross’ “For the Love of Sneakers”, which remains one of the top conversations on her site. She’s done album reviews for actor/singer, Mack Wilds, super star Justin Timberlake, and Grammy nominee Raheem DeVaughn. Lisa Green, the owner of AMN Magazine, being most impressed by Shi’s review on Raheem DeVaughn, she  was offered the opportunity to interview him live for the magazine as well. Since then, Shi has interviewed Kool Moe Dee, Vinicius Machado, Leslie Lopez, Lucy Walters, Darrin Dewitt Henson, Yoyo  and many more.  She has also spent time as lead writer for Swurvradio.

In January 2014, she was named Editor-In-Chief of BTMB Magazine. During her time as editor-in-chief, she was able to land what she calls her most monumental cover story to date, music mogul Michael Bivins, co-founder and member of the group New Edition and Bell Biv Devoe. After 33 years in the music business she was able to give him his very first front cover. She remained with BTMB Magazine for 5 years. While enjoying her writing success, Shi has been on numerous radio shows promoting herself and her label. She has been interviewed on QMediaNation, LadiesNightRadio, and Talktainmentradio just to name a few.

Most recently, Shi has begun her journey as a Youtuber with her series entitled “The Momager Life Series” where she shares her experiences in the music business as a momager.

With future plans for her own solo project slated for release in 2022, plans to complete her first novel entitled “They Don’t See Me”, and writing short films and movies in conjunction with Mass Revolution Films, Shi Lewis is well on her way to becoming a powerful music mogul and entrepreneur.
