J’Breil D. Grimes (JG) , 23 year old, born December 14, 1997, female rap artist from Dallas, Texas. I am a dedicated & multitasking artist full time college student, as well as a self-taught nail technician with no children. As I first posted my first freestyle video on Instagram March 3, 2020, my passion and motivation for music has tremendously shown within the first 5 months of my career. I can honestly say that I did feed off of my followers energy and the 3,600 views from my video I first posted. I seen the support that everyone showed me and really believed in me plus the talent, from that day forward I have dedicated my life and time to my rap career.
June 7, 2020 I dropped my first Single on all platforms “F**k Em’’, and is soon to become a Hit at any moment. This is every ones favorite song from me right now and I will continue to push it. June 12, 2020 I had my first EP Listening Party , Dropped “Pressure” and had my first performance as an independent artist and it turned out extremely well for a private event of 100+ guest. My followers, fans and views started to grow immediately after and when dropping content .
June 20,2020 I hosted my first event and performed at Vlive Dallas and received amazing feedback and more opportunities. I started my new year off with a interview from @changedplanz and it went well. I’m currently working on my 1st tape I’m about to drop as my 1year mark comes up . Im still a part time nail tech and doing nails. I have learned how to balance out my life and become a full time artist independently. I love the support, atmosphere, and faith that I have been surrounded by over the months. I am very greatful for this new journey that has pushed me to excel on a higher platform.
